It is with great sadness that the family of the late Ellen Pottle announce her passing at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in her 75th year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her beloved husband of 55 years Gordon Pottle. She also leaves to mourn her children: Kim (Tim) Taylor, Joanne (Guy) Reid, Deneka (Frank) Pottle and Tracey (Dave) Pottle; grandchildren: Jeremy, Zachary, Nicole (Steve), Stephanie, Gregory, Justin, Jordan, Kaitlyn and Maryellen; great-grandchildren: Norah, Lucas and Jake; sisters and brothers: Celestine, Alice (Ralph), Theresa (Greg), Leo (Melvina), Yvette (George), Melita (Donny), Rita (Murray), Odette (Pius), Marilyn (Kurt); in-laws: Linda (Ivan), Wayne (Lorraine), Diane (Randell); and also a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Ellen was predeceased by her parents: Ronald and Rosalie Lawless; brother Tommy, sisters: Marie and Antoinette. At Ellen’s request, cremation will take place following the funeral service. Friends and family may visit Country Haven Funeral Home, 167 Country Road, Wednesday, January 3, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Funeral service will take place at the Country Haven Funeral Home Chapel Thursday, January 4, 2018 at 2 pm with Father Rossi officiating. Interment to follow at a later date.
