Sharon V. Davis
1943-2017
Sharon V. Davis, 74 years of age, of Amherst, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 29, 2017. Born in Amherst, she was the daughter of the late Grant & Francis (Goodwin) Lannigan.
Sharon was a Lioness for many years and a volunteer with the St. John Ambulance. She loved bingo and playing 45's. She was a member of the Amherst 50 Plus Club.
Sharon will be sadly missed Kim Davis of Sherbrooke, QC, Wendy Glenn (Laurie) of Amherst, Grant Davis ( Tracey) of Alberta; grandchildren,Terri, Cody, Patricia, Karensa, Noella, Erica, James, Landon, Dee-Dee, Lucas & Hailey ; five great grandchildren, sister in law, Muriel Steele. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Charles, daughter, Debbie Sullivan, brother in law, Jim Steele.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Furlong-Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church St., Amherst, NS (902-667-8777) where the family will receive visitors on Monday, January 8, 2018 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the Furlong-Jones Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 9, 2018 at 11 a.m. Burial to take place in Rexton in the spring.
Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre.
