FREEMAN GEORGE ORGAN
April 28, 1941 – December 31, 2017

It is with great sadness that the family of the late Freeman George Organ announce his passing on Sunday, December 31, 2017 with his family by his side at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre in Port aux Basques at the age of 76 years. Born in Isle aux Morts, he was the son of Sadie (Harvey) and late George Organ. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his daughter, Melanie Organ (Mark Osmond), granddaughter, Amber Seymour, grandsons, Wayne (Callie) Hankinson, Cody (Jenna) Hankinson, and Jordan (Patti Lynn) Hankinson, great granddaughters, Oliva, Tori and Grace, wife Marie, brothers and sisters, Melissa (William) Parsons, Hickman (Ruth) Organ, Archibald (Gladys) Organ, Jessie Thorne, Roger Organ (JoAnn Goosney), Ronnie Organ, Susan (Phillip) Hibbs, Rev. John (Irene) Organ, Ann (Max) Clarke, Wanda Organ, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his, step daughter, Irma Hankinson, brother, Dennis Organ, brother in law, Walter Thorne. Family and friends visited the Holy Spirit Anglican Church in Isle aux Morts on Monday, January 1, 7-9 p.m., Tuesday, January 2 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. Funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 3 at 11 a.m., officiated by Rev. Maryrose Colbourne. Interment followed at Hillside Haven Cemetery, Isle aux Morts Road. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to charity of one’s choice.
