HANF, Eugenie Martha “Jennie” – age 96, The Meadows Home for Special Care, Yarmouth, formerly of Brazil Lake, passed away on Monday, January 1, 2018 in the home. Born September 6, 1921 in Hubbard’s Point, she was a daughter of the late François and Melvina (Melanson) Hubbard. Jennie worked at Cosmos Imperial Mills as well as at Villa St-Joseph-du-Lac. She enjoyed birds, flowers, line dancing and going on bus tours. She is survived by her second husband, Prescott Hanf, as well as by her children, Leonard (Lynn), Belleville South; Junior (Sharon), Belleville; Norma (Frank) Saulnier, Arcadia; Carol (Thomas) Robicheau, Belleville; Ronnie (Donna) Dulong, Florida; Joey (Barb) Dulong, Timberlea; step-children, Scott (Holly) Hanf, Marylou (Vince) Goreham and Lisa (Wayne) Thibeault; grandchildren, Johnny, Denise, Michelle, Lisa, Louisette, André, Tommy, Timmy, Tammy, Ronnie, Nannette, Joey and Krista; 22 great grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers, Ben Hubbard, Belleville and Gerald Hubbard, Yarmouth. Aside from her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, Arthur J. Dulong; a daughter in infancy; granddaughters, Brenda, Wanda and Peggy; brothers and sisters, Louise, Rita, Richard, John, her twin sister Madelaine, Rose and Marie-Marthe; step-daughter, Judy. Visitation took place from 7-9 Sunday evening, with prayers at 8 p.m. at H.M. Huskilson’s Funeral Home, 29 Albert St., Yarmouth. A funeral mass took place at 10 a.m., Monday, January 8 from St. Ambrose Co-Cathedral, Yarmouth, Father Henry Smolenaars officiated.
