We regret to announce the sudden passing of Isabel MacVicar, 69, on Saturday, December 16, 2017, at home in Sydney Mines.
Born in New Glasgow on January 10, 1948, Isabel was the daughter of the late John and Agnes (Murphy) MacVicar.
Isabel worked as a pediatric nurse for over 30 years.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Billy.
She leaves behind her brother, John ‘Johnny’ (Catherine) MacVicar, Brantford, Ontario, and nephew, Dave, Toronto.
The Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday January 10, 2018 at 10 a.m. in Holy Family Church Sydney Mines, with Fr. James Oliver officiating. A reception will take place at the parish hall.
