Passed peacefully away on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the Health Science Centre surrounded by his loving family; Verdon Higdon, age 76 years. Predeceased by his loving parents Samuel & Ethel Higdon; parents-in-law James & Minnie Newhook, brother Clifford, sister Elva, all brothers and sisters-in-law. Leaving to mourn with loving & cherished memories of 53 years, wife Iris Higdon; daughters: Carla (Jeff), Stephanie (Lorne), sons; Terry (Brenda), Shawn, Rodney (Caroline). 9 precious grandchildren; Natasha (Steven), Michelle (Michael), Allie (Shane), Casandra, Jordan, Courtney, Bradon (Mave), Shauna, Christina. 6 precious great-grandchildren; Chloe, Kylee, Natalie, Mackenzie, Lexie, Brady. sisters: Nettie (Eric), Louise (Sam), Rosalind, Sheila. Brothers-in-law; Ed (Bonnie), Doug (Barb). Sisters-in-law; Beatrice (Ed), Eileen, Bessie, Joanne (Tom), Sylvia. Also a large circle of nieces and nephews and friends. Resting at Holloway's Funeral Home, Whitbourne. Visitation Monday, January 8, 2018 from 2:00 - 9:00 pm.
