Peacefully at the Dr. John M. Gillis Memorial Lodge on Sunday, January 7, 2018 the passing of Phyllis Marie MacSwain, (nee Nicholson) age 80, beloved wife of Chester MacSwain. She was born in Valleyfield. Phyllis will be sadly missed by her son Jamie (Brenda); cherished grandchildren Michaela and Nigel; brothers Sandy, Sudbury, ON, Roy (Gail), St. George, N.B.; sister Ruth (John), Manitoba. She was predeceased by a brother Boyd; sister-in-law Barb. By personal request there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held in the spring, in the Peters Road Cemetery.
