Lyla Eva Macdonald
Lyla passed away peacefully in the An Cala Palliative Care Unit of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney on Monday, January 8, 2018, at the age of 92. She is survived by her daughters, Arlene and Valerie (Gordon Billard); grandchildren, Chelsey, Jacob, Noah and Daniel; nine great-grandchildren and her sister-in-law, Beverly. Lyla was predeceased by her parents, Alex and Katie Ann Macdonald and her siblings, Thelma, Maria and Hazen. As per her wishes, cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held in MacKeigan Cemetery, Lake Uist, at a later date.
