Jeanne M. Duguay
1920-2018
It is with sadness we announce the passing of Jeanne Marie Duguay, 97, of Port Elgin, NB. Jeanne passed away peacefully at the Westford Nursing Home, Port Elgin, with family by her side on Friday, January 5, 2018.
Born in Petit Cap, NB, she was a daughter of the late Philias and Elise (Cormier) Vautour.
Jeanne was a hard working lady and great mother to not just her own children, but their friends and all children in the community.
She will be sadly missed by sons, Larry, Port Elgin, Billy (Marie-Mai), Shemogue, Maurice Vautour, Port Elgin; 10 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandsons.
She was predeceased by her husband William, son Bernie and daughters Nancy Duguay and Gloria Gallant; brothers Abbé, Edgar, Arthur, Laurie, Emile, Eloi, Gerald and Ernie; sisters Sara, Annie, Irene and Doris.
Arrangements have been entrusted into the care and direction of Jones Funeral Home, Sackville and Port Elgin, NB (506-538-2241). In keeping with Jeanne's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral.
