It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our loving mother, proud grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. Grace passed away unexpectedly, surrounded by her loving family, Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the Milton District Hospital, Milton, Ont., in her 81st, year.
Born in Glace Bay in 1937 and raised in Dominion, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Helen (Melanson) Watson.
Grace truly enjoyed her numerous visits home to Dominion, especially the times spent with her extended family and friends. She also enjoyed the community events celebrated in Dominion during the annual Seaside Dazes.
Grace is survived by her loving daughters, Darlene (Scott) Wilson, Diane (Steve) McInnis and Debbie Morris (Mike); cherished grandchildren, Craig, Nicholas, Brianne, William, Brittany, Brennan; and great-granddaughter, Chloe. She will also be sadly missed by her siblings, Thomas, Brian, Sharon, Kevin, Ronnie; her special aunt, Irma Marsh; her Gervais family of in-laws; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Besides her parents, Grace was also predeceased by her husband, Pork Gervais and a brother, Leroy.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the J. Scott Early Funeral Home, 21 James St., Milton, Ont. 1-(905) 878-2669.
A memorial service will be held on Friday at 12 p.m. from the funeral home chapel. A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 136, 21 Charles St., Milton.
If desired, donations in memory of Grace may be made to the Milton District Hospital Foundation or the Diabetes Association.
