It is with great sadness that the family of the late Dinah Bella Langdon announce her passing at the Health Sciences Complex, in St. John’s, NL, on Wednesday, January 10th, 2018 at the age of 79 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children; Maureen, Sharon (Jim), Rosalind, all of Pasadena, NL, and Brian (Denise) of Moncton, NB, her grandchildren; Sonya (Peter), Michael, Melanie (Michel), Jonathon, Whitney, Mark, Jennifer, Dakota, Anthony, Laura-Lynn, and Jessica, her great-grandchildren; Hayley, Logan, Zachery, and Gracie, her brothers; Gerald (Jessie), Robert (Francine), and Don (Lena), her sisters; Bonnie (Jim), Myra (Jim), Maxine (Dave), and Linda, brother-in-law; Ivan, sisters-in-law; Hattie, Vivian, Elizabeth, Sandra, and Betty, Dinah was predeceased by her husband; Raymond, son; Mark, parents; Marigold and Harvey Wight, brothers; Wayne, Victor, Junior, and Claude. Also leaving to mourn a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives, extended family and friends. In Dinah’s memory, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association Canada Atlantic Regional Office, 170 Cromarty Drive, Suite 222, Dartmouth, NS B3B 0G1 and would be gratefully appreciated by the family. The family will be receiving family and friends at The Pentecostal Church in Pasadena, NL, on Saturday, January 13th, 2018, from the hours of 7-9 pm, and continuing on Sunday, January 14th, 2018, from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 pm, where also the funeral service will take place from on Monday, January 15th, 2018 at 1:00 pm, with Major Frederick & Louise Pond officiating with the burial to follow at the family plot of Salvation Army Cemetery on North Lake Road in Pasadena, NL.
