It is with great sadness that the family of the late Alan Walter Reid announces his peaceful passing at the Palliative Care Unit of Western Memorial Hospital, Corner Brook on Monday, January 15, 2018 at the age of 73 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are his children Craig (Gail), Mount Pearl, Michael (Karen), Corner Brook and Krista, Corner Brook; grandchildren David, Jacob and Beth; brother Kevin (Elizabeth) Niagara Falls, sisters, Edith (Emrys) Bishop, Cambridge, ON and Donna Humber, Pasadena; the mother of his children Lillian Reid, and his best friend Reg Masters; along with many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his parents Walter and Madge Reid, and brother-in-law James Humber. In keeping with Alan’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
