Angelina (Hashem) Sutton

Angelina (Hashem) Sutton, born October 7, 1920, the daughter of the late John Hashem and the late Freda Hashem, passed away after a short illness at Glace Bay General Hospital on January 15, 2018.
She was a resident of Taigh Na Mara, Glace Bay.
Angelina is survived by her brothers, Edward and Abe, and one sister, Adele, all of Sydney.
She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Sutton and son, Daniel. She was also predeceased by her brothers, Paul and George, and two sisters, Martha Glancey and Helen Woodhouse.
Angelina was a World War II veteran, serving in the Canadian Woman’s Army Corps. She resided in Ontario and was employed by Nortel Communications.
The family would like to thank the staff, doctors and nurses of Taigh Na Mara Nursing Home and the Glace Bay General Hospital for the wonderful care given to Angelina.
There will be no visitation. A funeral service will take place at a later date. Interment will take place at Resurrection Cemetery, Sydney Forks.
