It is with great sadness that the family of the late Doreen Martha Anderson announce her passing on Monday, January 22, 2018 at the age of 81 years. She leaves to mourn with fond loving memories her sons: Vates, Stacey (Joy Davis); her daughter: Julia Ann Sutherland; her grandsons: Christian Penney, Justin Anderson, Jeffrey Anderson, Dylan Day and Jayden Davis; her granddaughters: Robin Vincent, and Jaylyn Davis; her great-granddaughter Alyssa Penney; stepson: Albert Wheeler & family, her sisters: Ettie Stratton, and Mona Piercey and sister-in-law Doris Parsons. She was predeceased by her husband Reginald Anderson; her parents Samuel and Julia Parsons; brothers: Richard Parsons, Gilbert Parsons and Cyril Parsons, sisters Mary Jane Parsons, Verde Harris, Dorothy Christopher, and daughter-in-law Dale Anderson. The visitation for family and friends will be held from Bethany United Church, Summerside on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 and Thursday, January 25, 2018 from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 pm from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 2pm with Rev. Jocelyn Cook officiating. The interment will follow at the Bethany United Church Cemetery Summerside. As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations can be made to a charity of one’s choice.
