At the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Monday January 22, 2018 the passing of Sandy Munro occurred with his loving family by his side. Sandy was born in Montague on December 22, 1951. Sandy will be missed by his loving wife Margaret; children Susan (Peter), Kathrin and Matthew (Shayna); step children Jo-Ann (Brian), Karen (Stewart) and Andrew (Michelle); sisters Mary (Allison), Jean, and brothers Donnie (Marjorie) and Cameron (Josie); grandchildren Elliot, Ayla and Annabelle. He will also be missed by his many nieces and nephews. Sandy was predeceased by his parents Mac and Janie Munro, and his first wife Linda. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Friday, January 26, from 4 to 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday January 27, at 11am. Reception to follow at the Montague Regional High School Cafeteria from 12 to 1 p.m. Interment to take place in the spring.
