Chance Harbour Road - James Earl MacLean, age 92, of the Valley View Villa, formerly of Chance Harbour Road, passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018 in the Villa. Born in New Glasgow, he was a son of the late James MacLean and Stella (McCormack) MacLean Colquhoun. He was retired from the Trenton Steel and Car Works and owned and operated his own appliance business. He enjoyed his daily trips to Tim Hortons. He is survived by daughters: Anna (Graham) Fraser; Jeannie Fancy; Judy (Harvey) Martin; Marilyn Falcitelli; Lorraine (Kelly) Bevis; sons: Bobby (Sheila Sweet); Parker (Carol); Ricky; Timmy. He was a loving grandfather, great grandfather and great-great grandfather. He is also survived by sister: Jessie Schmidt; brothers: Paul (Mary); Sandy (Patricia Lloyd); nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Jean Barnett; sons: John, Fraser in infancy; brother, Parker; sisters: Nellie Gallagher and Verna. Visitation 2-4 pm Sunday in the R.H. Porter Funeral Home, High St., Trenton, with a short service at 4 pm Sunday, Pastor Ryan King officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery at a later date. No flowers by request.
