Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, January 25, 2018, Mr. George Allan Bishop of Hibb’s Cove, Port-de-Grave, aged 92 years. Predeceased by parents Nathaniel and Evelyn (nee Petten) Bishop; wife Louise (nee Peddle) Bishop; first wife Winifred (nee Petten) Bishop; daughter Winifred Bishop; brothers Clarence and Cecil (Stella) Bishop; sisters Susie (Victor) Morgan and Doris (Oliver) Bussey; brother-in-law William Andrews. Leaving to mourn, son Barry (Jessie) Bishop; daughters, Bonnie (Bill) Churchill, Barbara (Brian) Crane; grandchildren Boyd (Heather), Shane (Elizabeth), Connie (Gordon), Aaron, Andrew (April), Brandon (Stacey) and Brady; great-grandchildren Isabelle, Zack and Hanna; brother Baxter (Gloria) Bishop; sister Edith Andrews. Resting at Moore’s Funeral Home, Bay Roberts with visitation on Saturday: 2pm – 5pm, 7pm – 9pm, Sunday: 10am – 12noon, 2pm - 5pm, 7pm – 9pm, Monday: 10am – 12noon. Funeral service will take place on Monday, January 29, 2018 at 2:00pm from St. Luke’s Anglican Church and Cemetery, Port-de-Grave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Luke’s Cemetery Fund.
