It is with great sadness that the family of the late Harry John Hare announce his passing on Monday, January 29, 2019 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 87 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Mary (nee Pink); children: Calvin Hare (Kathy) and Lisa Hare-Walsh (Robert); grandchildren: Matthew, Stephen, Michael, Sarah and Nicole; sisters: Dorothy Clarke and Sylvia (Robert) Wells; brother Clayton (June) Hare; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Louis and Elizabeth Hare and brother-in-law Calvin Clarke. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home on Wednesday and Thursday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11 a.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue with Archbishop Stewart Payne officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Parkinson Society.
