It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that the family of Bill Amos announce his passing. Bill was born April 2, 1942 in Prince Albert, SK and passed away January 25, 2018, unexpectedly, in Kelowna, BC. Bill was predeceased by his parents Hilda and Sam, his sisters Joyce and Sylvia and his nephew Bill. He is survived by his children: Connie (Joe), Lyn (Grant), Christin and Cameron and his grandchildren: Kyle, Cam, Brandon, Brett, Jason, Kamil, Tania, Joey and Jessica. Bill was also a great grandfather to Christian, Carter, Stellan and Abigail. Bill was born and raised in Prince Albert and began his career in Prince Albert in radio. He then raised his family in Saskatoon while working in advertising at CFQC-TV and later sales for Good Host Restaurant Supplies. He moved his family to Regina in the early 80's where his interest in the carpet industry began and he became a partner in CJV Carpets. He made Kelowna his home in the early 90's. Bill continued to work in the carpet industry until his passing. He loved working with the team at Nufloors in his final years. Bill spent the last 25 years of his life in Kelowna where he raised his grandson Kyle, enjoyed regular family visits with his daughter Connie, son-in-law Joe and his grandchildren Brandon and Cameron. He was very close with Kyle and Kyle's fiancé Aly and looked forward to spending time with his great grandson's Christian and Carter. Bill had a family of close friends in Kelowna that will miss him deeply. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Springfield Funeral Home in Kelowna, BC. Bill was an eye donor and the family asks in memory of him that you consider becoming an organ donor. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date for family and friends.
