We are saddened to announce the passing of Lenora Pamela Paruch, 87, on Thursday, February 1, 2018.
Born in Sydney, Pam was the daughter of the late Sylvester and Theresa Dawson.
Prior to calling Seaview Manor her home two years ago, Pam lived and worked in Sydney. In 1949, she graduated from St. FX and went on to a career as a registered medical secretary, retiring after 40 years. She was a gifted writer and piano player
Pam was predeceased by her husband, Michael Paruch in 1994.
She is survived by her son, Mylo (Heather) and their children, Rebecca and Nicholas. Pam is also survived by her brother, Victor Dawson (Olive) and their family.
Special thanks to the staff of Seaview Manor and those special folks who loved and cared for Pam as their own. Also, thanks are extended to Dr. Mark Elleker and the terrific nurses in 3 South at the Glace Bay General.
There will be no visitation. Cremation has taken place and a private family service has been scheduled.
In keeping with Pam’s devotion to and unwavering love of animals, memorials may be made to Paw’s Mart - Aileen’s pets without vets, Whitney Pier or a charity of your choice.
