Passed peacefully away at Dr. G. B. Cross Hospital, Clarenville, in the presence of her loving husband and family on Friday, February 2, 2018, Alice Phillips of Bunyan’s Cove, aged 73 years. Leaving to mourn her husband Gordon; seven children: Raymond Phillips (Cindy), Randy Phillips (Kathy), Pauline Garrett (Derek), Pam Phillips (Chris), Donna King (Rupert), Darlene Young (Steve) and Wanda Keats (Bradley); 11 grandchildren: Shane Phillips (Marianne), Chantille Phillips (Kim), Jason Phillips (Zuleika), Kendal Tucker (Joey), Brad King (Caitlyn), Nathan King (Jill), Matthew King (Taylor), Andy Young (Allie), Ian Garrett, Patrick Dawson and Jenna Keats; six great-grandchildren: Chase, Reigen, Jared, Mia, Spencer and Madison; loving sister Doris Phillips (Gilbert) and brother Bill Holloway (Trina); and all of the Holloway and Phillips’ family members and friends. Resting at St. Paul’s United Church, Bunyan’s Cove on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 2-9 p.m. Funeral service will take place at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, February 4, 2018 from St. Paul’s United Church, Bunyan’s Cove with interment to follow at the United Cemetery, Bunyan’s Cove.
