We, the family of the late Donald Young, wish to express our appreciation to our family, extended family, loving friends, special neighbours, and to all who traveled from near and far.
We are so grateful to all who sent messages of sympathy, Mass offerings, telephone calls, gifts of food, and donations to charities, to all who visited Don during his hospital stay, and for all those who prayed for him during his illness.
A special thanks to the pallbearers, Michael King, Justin Anderson, Kevin Young and Gary Nickelson, Pauline Carey and Angela MacKenzie for the Mass readings, and to the New Beginnings Club for their support.
We are very grateful for Dr. Beth MacCormick, Dr. Rajbir Pahil and staff at the Cape Breton Cancer Center, the VON, Dr. John Ritter of Palliative Care, and the nurses at the Northside General Hospital for their professionalism and sincere care.
A special thank you to Michelle Finney for her compassionate care both in hospital and at home and for always putting a smile on Don’s face.
