Rodney Chaffey passed away suddenly in Labrador City on February 4th, 2018 at the age of 74. Rod was born in Jeffrey's, NL on October 23rd, 1943. Predeceased by parents Carl and Vera (nee Hulan), and sisters Rhoda and Elizabeth. Survived by daughters Kelly (Cal) and Amanda; granddaughter Elena; brother David (Sylvia); and several nieces and nephews. Rod moved to Labrador City in the 1970s after spending many years in the Armed Forces, and worked at IOC for more than 30 years until his retirement. He leaves behind many good friends, and will be remembered for his kind heart and great sense of humour.
