On Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the Kings County Memorial Hospital, the passing of Sterling W. Hume, age 85, beloved husband of Anne (Hicken) Stewart-Hume occurred. Born in Beach Point, he was the son of the late Wallace and Lois (MacLeod) Hume. Sterling will be missed by his loving children, Mark (Lori), Wade (Jackie), Lois (Mark), Harvey; step daughters Valerie, Pamela, Heather; grandchildren, Janis, Lindsay, Ashlee, Kyla, Blake; Jillian, Kyle, Cody, Tameka; 8 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Alden, Sheldon; his first wife Myrna and son Wally. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Saturday, February 10th from 12 to 2 p.m. with Funeral Service to follow in the Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment to take place in the spring. Donations to the Cancer Society PEI or donors choice.
