NEVILLE, Linden Luanae - 89, formerly of Halifax, passed away peacefully Monday, May 9, 2011 in Grand View Manor, Berwick. Born in Kentville on January 31, 1922, she was the second daughter of the late Anson Henry and Jenny (Moore) Fielding. She was predeceased by her husband of 56 years, Laurie Murray Neville; her sister, Eleanor Maunzelle Blenkhorn of Sacramento, California. She is survived by her children, Brian (Judie) Neville, Middleton; Cheryl (Mel) Ritcey, Bedford; much loved grandchildren, Heather, Taylor, Jill and Adam; great grandchildren, Julia, Erin and Nathan. Waynie, as she was affectionately known, was a graduate of Kings County Academy and Mack Business College, Kentville. She was a long time employee of the Royal Bank of Canada in Kentville and Halifax. Mom loved to work and was employed in many different fields until retiring at age 70. Our Mom was a beautiful, vibrant woman who enjoyed spending time with her family and many friends and always loved a good laugh. Her energy and love of life will be greatly missed. Brian and Cheryl would especially like to thank the staff at Grand View Manor, Ross Unit, for several years of kind, attentive care. Cremation has taken place under the direction of the White Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Kentville. There was no visitation, by request. A memorial service was held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011 in the White Family Funeral Home, Kentville, Reverend Ray A. Francis officiating. Burial took place in the Elm Grove Cemetery, Steam Mill. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Nova Scotia.
