It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Sharon Ann Anderson, age 65, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, Sydney, following a brief illness.
Time was the restriction on a spirit that had so much love to offer. Sharon Ann Anderson lived her life with love in her heart and the notion to enjoy life to its fullest. No matter what situation occurred she could always find the good, when her breaths were fleeting, this remarkable woman still found the spark of joy in the love, laughter and the strength to comfort her family that never left her side until the flame of her life departed this world and illuminated the heavens.
Born in North Sydney on October 31, 1952, Sharon was the daughter of the late Charles Robert and Dorothy Alberta (Billard) Hatcher.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Robert Anderson; her daughter, Kimberly Dawn Dorothy Bridget (Alfred) Pendergast; her son, Christopher Donald Charles (Amanda Sharpe); five grandchildren, Xavier Robert Michael Cameron, Abigail Amanda Anderson, Carter Robert James Anderson, Sidney Taylor Anderson and Sean Thomas Anderson; her sister, Thelma MacLennan, Dalem Lake; her brother, Melvin George Hatcher, Sydney Mines.
By request there will be no visitation or funeral service. Arrangements have been entrusted to W.J. Dooley Funeral Home, 107 Pleasant St., North Sydney.
