The death occurred at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, on Friday, February 23, 2018, of Esther Walsh, of Summerside and formerly of Cape Traverse, aged 82 years. Born in Cape Traverse, she was the daughter of the late Rena and Annie (Hately) Stordy. Survived by her twin sons Donald “Donnie” and Lynson “Lennie” (Carla); daughter Kathy Walsh-Peterman (Kevin Peterman); grandchildren Mark (Katie) Walsh, Stephanie Walsh, Gordie (Lorna) Walsh, Ann Marie (Wayne) Pickering, Maelisa, Cayla, Holly (Paul) Goodings and M.J. Peterman; great-grandchildren Jeanna, Dawson, Will, Olivia, Weston, Hayden and Caleb; sisters Shirley (Wayne) Clark, Audrey (Richard) Langer and Dianne Howatt. Predeceased by her husband John “Jack” Walsh; son Myles John Walsh; a sister Leona Cousins; and by a brother John “Jackie” Stordy. Resting at the Moase Funeral Home, Summerside, where a private family service will be held. Interment later in the Cape Traverse United Church Cemetery. No visiting hours by personal request.
