The death occurred peacefully, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Charlottetown, on Wednesday, February 28, 2018, of Wilfred MacKinnon, of The Garden Home, Charlottetown. He was the son of the late Wilfred Laurier “Googs” and Vivian (Gaul) MacKinnon, aged 76. Wilfred is survived by his sisters, Margie King (Bob), Pat Gallant (Mike); and nieces and nephews, Christine, Todd, Aaron, Adam, Melissa and Josh; and great-nephew, Elliott. He is also remembered by his longtime friend, Bill Perry and his friends at the Charlottetown Amateur Radio Club. Resting at Holy Redeemer Parish, Charlottetown, for visitation prior to the funeral, on Saturday, March 3, 2018, from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. Funeral mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. Interment at a later date in the Peoples Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown.
