On March 1st, 2018, my hero, my mom Theresa Ann Mercer passed away at the Health Science Centre, surrounded by her family who loved her dearly. A strong, independent woman who loved and fearlessly supported her family all her life. Predeceased by her parents Edward and Catherine McCarthy, brother John ìJackî McCarthy, sister Catherine Finney and nephew John W. Finney. Leaving to mourn with heart felt memories; her daughter Kim Mercer, sister Helen Reddy (Ron), brother-in-law John Finney, nephews and nieces John McCarthy, Karen Fowler (nee Finney), Sean McCarthy, Ron Reddy, Steve McCarthy, Krista Reddy, special cousin Helen OíNeill and many other family and friends. Cremation has taken place. Visitation at Caulís Funeral Home 84 LeMarchant Road. On Sunday March 4, 2018 and Monday March 5, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2018 from St. Patrickís Parish at 9:30 a.m. Inurnment to follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Flowers gratefully accepted or memorial donations to a charity of choice.
