The family of the late Hamilton MacNeil, would like to thank all of our relatives, friends and neighbours for the support provided to us at his passing. The many messages of condolence and in many cases the nice stories and connections you shared whether by phone, card or in person were very much appreciated. Thank you to all who visited with us at the funeral home and who attended his funeral mass. All of the messages of support, the food brought to our house and the donations made in his name to the Sydney Mines Food Bank and other community based charities meant a lot to us; we know he would have been surprised but very pleased by all of this.
Thank you as well to Father Oliver and all of those from his Holy Family parish community who participated in the mass including the choir and his long time friend Sharon Iannetti who did such a nice solo. Thank you to Kara, Erin and Kelly for doing such a nice job with the readings at what we know was a very difficult time and to the pallbearers (Blaise, Darrell, Liam, Colton, Dennis and Sheldon) who carried him on his last journey. Finally, thank you to Manning Jobes and his staff at Jobes Funeral Home for their advice and guidance. The support and comfort all of you provided during this very difficult time will not be forgotten.
