Anne Dickinson

OTTAWA / WEST BROOK – Anne W. Dickinson, age 72, of Ottawa and formerly of West Brook. We are saddened to announce the passing of Anne Dickinson at the Ottawa General Hospital on Tuesday, March 6 2018 following a short illness.
Born in 1945 in Springhill, she was a daughter of the late Seymour and Louise (D’Orsay) Dickinson.
Anne attended schools in West Brook, Parrsboro, Acadia University and University of Saskatchewan (Regina Campus).
Anne’s working life centred around her love of travel and as a travel agent, planning trips for people who shared her desire to explore other parts of the world.
Anne is survived by brother, David Dickinson (Karen), West Brook; sisters, Emily Miller (Cyrus), Middleton; Elizabeth Stokesbury, Gaspereau; Sybil Brown (Alfred), Bass River; many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother-in-law, Dr. James Stokesbury and grandnephew Simon Miller.
There will be no public service but a private family committal will follow later in the Spring at the West Brook Cemetery.
