The family of Betty Sisnett would like to express our deepest gratitude to the vast community of family and friends who supported us during the loss of our dear wife, sister and aunt. Many residents of Baddeck assisted us during a difficult time. Thank you to the medical personnel at both Victoria County and QE 11 Hospitals for their compassionate care of Betty. Close neighbours and friends supported us with food, helpful information and much kindness. Special thanks to Deacon Wally Ivany, Fr. Angus MacDougall , Fr. Leo Cordeau and the choir of St. Michael’s parish for a very spiritual farewell to our special family member. The presence of friends and family who travelled from near and far to attend the celebration of Betty’s life comforted us. The reception at the parish hall was an opportunity to not only share a delicious lunch but to also chat and share memories. Thanks also to David and Shawn of MacAskill’s Funeral Home for your professional assistance. We are grateful to all of you who spent time with us, called our homes, sent cards, donated cash and made monetary donations to charities such as the Alzheimer’s Society of N.S. To all of you who have been touched by Betty’s life in some way, we wish you peace and joy.
