It is with great sadness that we, the family of Leo Boutilier, announce his passing at Harbourstone Enhanced Care on March 20, 2018 at the age of 80.
Born in Glace Bay, he was the son of the late Cecil and Cecelia (MacPhee) Boutilier.
In his younger years, Leo enjoyed playing little league baseball and joined the army for a number of months. He worked in a nickel mine in Sudbury, Ontario and also worked as a painter.
He is survived by his sister, Clara (Sheldon), Sydney and her children, Norma, Mississauga, Brian, Kingston, and Glenn, Port Hope; brothers, Cecil, Bedford and Alfie, Sudbury; cousin, Patsy (Brian). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; as well as his great friend, Harvey.
Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his sisters, Janette and Lindsay.
Cremation has taken place. There will be no visitation. Burial will take place at a later date.
