1935- 2018 Vernon Bridge has left us to go to the big horse race in heaven on March 22, 2018 in his 83rd year. He leaves behind his sons, Carleton MacDonald (Donna Anstie), Charles (Bonnie), Douglas (Kathy) his daughters, Deborah Roberts, Anne (Ian MacKenzie), Margaret Wilton (Mark), sister Edythe MacLeod as well as 11 grandchildren and one great grandchild, and many loving family and friends. Ralph was predeceased by his wife Ethel (Jenkins), his parents Chester and Margorie, brother Keith and sister Elizabeth Graham. Dad was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather and a wonderful friend to many who will miss his easy smile, love of life and his stories dearly. He loved people, music, horses, the land and all the creatures that live on it. Many thanks to the wonderful people of Gillis’ Lodge for providing excellent care and compassion. Resting at Ferguson Logan Montague Funeral Home with visiting on Sunday, March 25th from 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service to take place in the Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, March 26th at 11a.m. Interment to take place in the Murray Harbour Cemetery.
