Peacefully at Beach Grove Home on Saturday, March 24, 2018, of Jean A. Jewell of Charlottetown, age 79 years. Beloved wife of the late Harvey Jewell and loving mother of Harvey and Steven Irving. Jean is also survived by special nieces Carol Clinton and Lynn Bradley; special nephew Alan Rogers; and sister-in-law Dianne Clinton. She was predeceased by her first husband Archie Irving; parents - Luke and Sara (Hopkinson) Clinton; brothers - Art, Elmer, Lorne, Earl, Lloyd and Elden Clinton and sisters - Mary Oatway, Doris Mutz, Iris Rogers and Ruth Powell. Resting at Hillsboro Funeral Home, 2 Hollis Ave., Stratford for visitation on Wednesday, March 28, 2018, from 4 -7 p.m. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Stratford Chapel, Hillsboro Funeral Home at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at a later date at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations to Heart & Stroke Foundation or PEI Humane Society would be appreciated.
