Peacefully at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Sunday, March 25, 2018 of Roderick W. "Roddy" Gould (Mi’kmaq Elder and follower of Jesus) of Scotchfort, age 71 years. Beloved husband of Donna (Lynch) Gould and dear father of Lloyd (Ramona) Gould, Deborah (Bobby) Jadis, Junior (Ella) Gould, Joe (Kim) Gould, Gerard (Tara) Gould, Darcy (Jan) Sock and Mary Ellen (Joseph) Knockwood. He is also survived by his brother, Hubert (Sylvia) Gould; many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and his best friend, Terry LeBlanc. He was predeceased by his parents Peter and Mary (Knockwood) Gould, sister, Barbara Sylliboy and baby brother, Lloyd Gould. Transferred from the Hennessey Cutcliffe Charlottetown Funeral Home to Roddy’s house at 121 Redstone Drive, Scotchfort for visitation starting on Tuesday, March 27 at 4 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 29 at the Sherwood Church of the Nazarene at 10:30 a.m. Interment to follow in St. Bonaventure Parish Cemetery, Tracacadie Cross.
