Passed peacefully away at the Palliative Care Unit of Western Memorial on Friday, March 30, 2018, our beloved husband and father, Larry Frank Luscombe at the age of 70 years. Leaving with love and special memories wife Nancy (Halfyard), children Lee (Stacey), Lauren (Kelly) and grandchildren Nicholas and Juliette. Larry also leaves his brothers Wayne (Pauline), Brian (Teresa), sister Joan (Scott) Graham, brothers-in-law Sam (Gloria) Halfyard, Stan (Brenda) Halfyard, sisters-in-law Rose Dewhirst, Elizabeth (George) Park, Hilda (Harold) Driver and so many loving nieces and nephews. Predeceased by mother Mildred (2016), father Frank (1959) and sister Ruth Walsh (1994). Thank you to the lovely doctors and nurses who were so kind, compassionate and informative through the last days of Larry’s life and the many years of his illness. Cremation has taken place, visitation will be held at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue Tuesday, April 3 2-4 pm and 7-9 p.m. Memorial service will be held at First United Church, Park Street Wednesday, April 4 at 2 p.m. with Rev. John van Vliet officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Church Redevelopment Fund or charity of one’s choice.
