LYNDS, Kathryn – 81, Truro. It is with sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Kathryn, which occurred on Thursday evening, March 29, 2018, at The Mira Long Term Care Centre, Truro. Born in Truro Heights, she was a daughter of the late George Gordon and Violet (Weatherby) Blois. In her prime, she was a wonderful seamstress and knew her way around a set of knitting needles. Kathryn is survived by her sons, Scott (Margaret), Darren (Jean); adored grandchildren, Jack, Baillie, Hannah, all of North River; brother, Stanley (Theresa) Blois, Truro; sister, Brenda (Ross) Hingley, Truro. We would like to express our appreciation to the staff at The Mira for their care of Mom these past few years. Private family interment will be held at a later date in Truro Heights United Baptist Church Cemetery.
