It is with great sadness that the family of the late Bramwell Hurley announce his passing on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 91 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are his daughters: Pearl Taylor (Clayton), Roddickton, Ruby Fitzgerald (Clyde), Mississauga, Ontario, Judy Nash (Charles), Corner Brook, Sylvia Halsall (Larry), Canmore, Alberta, Violet Sheppard (Gary), Corner Brook, Doris Ploughman, Hamilton, Ontario, and Ellen Guy (Alan), Georgetown, Ontario; sons: Willis (Marg), Burlington, Ontario, Martin, Corner Brook, Garland (Eileen), Massey Drive, Roy (Susanne), Massey Drive, Larry (Brenda), Ontario, Raymond, Corner Brook, and Roger (Katreena), of Nova Scotia; grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers: Wilson Hurley (Linda), Pleaman Hurley (Myrtle), and sister Ada; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Rachel, parents Archibald and Patience Hurley, and brothers and sisters. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Tuesday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. from where Funeral Service will take place on Wednesday at 2 p.m. from the chapel with The Most Reverend S. Stewart Payne officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia receiving chapel.
