Passed peacefully away on Monday, April 2, 2018, at the L.A. Miller Centre, after a courageous battle with COPD, in the presence of his loving family. Leo Peter Ezekiel, age 72 years was predeceased by his parents Madeline and Patrick; baby sister Bridie; parents-in-law Richard and Irene O’Reiley; brother and sister-in-law Winnie and Pat Ducey. Left with fond and loving memories, his devoted and loving wife Geraldine; children Tracy (Shawn) and Scott (Brenda) and his ultimate pride and joy – his four precious grandchildren Carson, Cameron, Rachael and Allie. Leo also leaves behind his brothers and sisters Irene, Pat (Carol), Joan (Jim), Tony (Diane), Eddie (Marilyn), Gerald, Wally, Barbara (Leonard), Mary (Jack), Lillian (Ed) and Ann (Bob-deceased) and sisters-in-law Terry (Tom-deceased), Helen (Ray-deceased), Von (Joey-deceased), as well as a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Special thanks to his angels – Dr. Karen Lake for the many home visits and special care throughout his illness; the doctors, nurses and staff at the Palliative Care Unit of the L.A. Miller Centre, especially Dr. Hurley and everyone who cared for him and visited him. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Wednesday from 7-9 pm and Thursday from 12-9 pm with cremation to follow. Funeral Service will take place at 10m am on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from Caul’s Chapel with inurnment to follow at Holy Trinity Cemetery, Bauline Line. Flowers are gratefully accepted or donation in Leo’s memory may be made to the Janeway Children’s Hospital or another charity of one’s choice.
