Charles “Chuck” Francis Pettipas . The family of Chuck Pettipas age 88 of Bedford and formally of Hampson Street ,Trenton are deeply saddened to announce his passing on April 5 ,2018 surrounded by his loving family Chuck was born April 17 ,1929 , the youngest son of Walter Sr. and Marie (Benoit) Pettipas. He was predeceased by his three brothers Alvin , Everett and Walter Jr. along with his four sisters : Marie , Harriet ,Lillian and Rita. He leaves behind to mourn his loving wife Shirley (Roy) and his eight children : John Charles (Darlene) , Gordon (Ellen) ,Terry , Kenneth (Sharon) , Anthony (Helen), Rose (Wayne) O’Hagan, Sherry (David)McBride, Eva (Kevin) Hislop .”Papa” will be sadly missed by his 16 grandchildren ,10 great grandchildren and his many nieces and nephews. He adored each and every one of them. Chuck was employed by the Eastern Car Company , Christ the King Parish and was senior printer for Michelin Tire until his retirement . He loved drawing , painting , woodworking ,photography and researching his family history. He was an ardent “Habs” fan and loved hockey. Visitation will take place on Sunday April 8th , from 7-9 P.M. in the H.W.Angus Funeral Home , 256 King St. New Glasgow. Funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 A.M. from St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church. Burial will take place at a later date in the Christ the King Cemetery. Many thanks to all the doctors ,nurses and care workers at Northwood Ivany Place. Your endless care and concern will not be forgotten. “Remember him in springtime How he loved the cool breeze, Remember him in summer As the sunshine kissed his cheeks, Remember him in autumn How he loved the turning leaves, Remember him in winter As the snowflakes dance in the breeze.
