The death occurred at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on Friday, April 6, 2018 of Sally Affleck (nee Gallant) of St. Andrew’s, age 87 years. Beloved wife of the late Adrian Affleck and dear mother of John, Ray (Carolyn), Alice (Brian) Hogan, Doreen Deacon-deceased, infant daughter Mary-deceased, Joanne (Louie) Myers, June (Mike) Matters, Blair, Alfred (Karen), Hazel and Robbie (Julie). She is also survived by 18 loving grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; sister, Catherine (Herbert) Peters; sister-in-law Vera Gallant and son-in-law Colin Deacon. She was predeceased by her parents Larry and Alice (nee Sutherland) Affleck; sister, Frances (Ken) Comley; brothers, Joseph and Hubert Gallant. A private funeral mass will be held at St. Andrew’s Church, Mount Stewart. Interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. No visitation by personal request.
