Passed peacefully away on Monday, April 9, 2018 after a long struggle with dementia at Pleasantview Towers, surrounded by his loving family, Walter Tucker, age 93 (5 days before his 94th birthday). Predeceased by his loving wife: Irene (2011) and many other relatives. Leaving to mourn his daughters: Marilyn Pardy (Kevin) & Linda Facey; sister: Elizabeth Caines of Deer Lake; granddaughters: Angela Loewen (Harvey) of Lloydminster, SK, Andrea Allen (Stephen) of Greenstreet, SK, Alison Rowney (Curt) of Didsbury, AB and Colleen Layne (Varian) of Bedford, NS; great-grandchildren: Kali, Kolton and Kooper Allen, Emily Rowney and Ethan Layne; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Resting at Barrett’s Funeral Home, 328 Hamilton Avenue with visitations on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 from 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm and Wednesday, April 11 from 2pm-4pm & 7pm-9pm. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, April 12 from Cochrane Street United Church at 2pm. Interment to follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
