The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his family at home in Richmond, on Tuesday, April 10, 2018 of Wayne Gallant at the age of 60 years. Born on November 4th, 1957, he was the son of the late Bernice (nee Perry) and Jim Hogan and the late Alan Gallant, grand-son of the late Agatha and Gus Perry. He was a devoted husband to Ellen Margaret (nee Waite) Gallant and loving father to Earnest Waite, Stewart Gallant and Bernice Gallant as well as a grandfather to Blaze Marshall Geary. He is survived by brothers-in-law Leigh (Mary) Paugh, Elmer Waite, Ernest (Roseann) Waite, Albert Waite, sister-in-law Pauline (Fred Gallant), Alice (Robert) Gallant, Alma (Gerry) Fortin and Carol (Philip) Brown. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville until Friday, April 13th then for a funeral service at the funeral home at 1 p.m. Interment to take place in the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery, Wellington at a later date. Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, April 12th, from 5 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to assist with funeral expenses would be greatly appreciated.
