At the Prince County Hospital Summerside on Tuesday April 10, 2018 of Darlene Marie Schurman of Spring Valley aged 58 years. Born in Alberton on June 6, 1959 daughter of Lucy (Doucette) Perry and the late Albert Perry. Wife of Lea Schurman. Mother of Jennifer Miner (Graeme Smith) and Joni Miner. Grandmother to Amelia and Alexa Smith. Step-Mother of Shelley Schurman (Barrett Campbell), Marc (Krista) Schurman, Cheryl (Jeff) MacFarlane and Jayna (Travis) Gallant. Step-Grandmother of Ben, Quinton and Samantha Schurman, Alexis and Natasha Schurman, Evelyn MacFarlane and Grayden and Gavin Gallant. Sister of Tammy (Corey) Marchbank, Sherry (Michael) Arsenault, Lee (Bernice), Bobby (Leona), Lester (Cheryl) and Wayne (Marilyn) Perry. Sister-in-Law of James Schurman (Pearl-deceased), Margaret (John) Bruce, Wendy (Barry) Blake, Isaac (Bonnie) Schurman and Wayne (Irene) Bernard. Her nieces and nephews include Emma, Katie, Colin, Matthew, Samantha, Amy, Robyn, Holly, Madison, Makara, Wayne Jr, Shelley, Sabrina and Marie. Also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Predeceased by her mother-in-law Audrey Frances Schurman.
