It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Norman Gallant, peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Wednesday April 11th ,2018 age 92 years from Le Chez-Nous Ltd. Norman was born on August 7th, 1925 to his late parents Aubin J.L. and Sylvina (nee Bernard) Gallant. Also cherished and forever in the hearts of his brothers and sisters Léona (Adolphe) Eliza (Euclide), Matt, Paul (Théresa), sister-in-law Cécile, Louise and Anna. He also survived by numerous nephews and nieces. Predeceased by brothers and sisters Théodore, Amand, Nélida, Jéanne, Aline, Edgar, Alfred, Léo and Eric. Resting at the Evangeline Co-op Funeral Home, Urbainville until Monday April 16th, then to St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church, Egmont Bay for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in the Church cemetery at a later date. Visiting hours on Monday April 16 from 9 to 10 only. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Philippe and St. Jacques Church Cemetery Fund in Norman’s memory would be greatly appreciated.
