Announcing the passing of Jordan Sturge of Gambo, Age 78, on Saturday, April 14th at the James Paton Memorial Hospital, Gander. Predeceased by his father James, mother Blanche (nee Blackwood), brother Eric, sister Betty and brother-in-law Chesley. Leaving to mourn, loving wife of 57 yrs, Gwennie (nee Goulding), son Lloyd (wife Dale, children Vanessa and Jordon), daughters Debbie Marsh (husband Brent, daughter Myranda, step-son Logan), Gale Parsons (husband Robert, sons Lance and Liam), and Charmaine Penny (husband Ray, daughter Emma), brothers Clyde (Myrtle), Wayne (Valerie), James (Itziar), sisters Loretta (Eugene), Beverly, Wanda (Fred), sister-in-law Winnie and along with many other relatives and Friends. Jordan was born in Safe Harbour, Bonavista Bay on March 3rd, 1940, he made his home in Gambo for the last 63 years. He retired from the Federal Department of Public Works after a 37 year career. He enjoyed many days in his boat at the cabin and cutting his firewood. Jordan was a great lover of animals especially dogs. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jordans memory may be made to the SPCA of your choice. As per Jordan's wishes, cremation as already taken place.
