Passed peacefully away at the Palliative care unit Wednesday, April 18, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Kevin James Mallard age 84 years. Predeceased by daughter Marylou (2016), great-granddaughter Julliette, his parents Susan and Thomas Mallard, 6 brothers and 3 sisters. Leaving to mourn with beautiful memories are his loving wife of 65 years, Catherine; daughters: Annette (Charlie Crane), Cathy (Wayne Devereaux) and Linda (Reg Simms); sons: Pat (Debbie) and Kevin (Josee); grandchildren: Lindsay Noble (Earl), Melanie Crane (Justin Snow) April Hall, Robert Simms, Mark Simms, Jared Mallard (Gina), Renee Martin (Nathan), Kevin Mallard (Lorelei), Christopher Mallard, Daniel Mallard, Glen Mallard (Melissa) and Phillip Gallant (Cherise); great-grandchildren: Carson Noble, Jonah Mallard, Alyssa, Julian, Madison, and Keegan Simms and Kevin Mallard; his sister Emily Gosse and special nephew Jim Gosse as well as many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends especially those at the Benevolent Irish Society and his longtime friends and neighbors on Cavell Avenue. Special thanks to Dr. Duffy and his secretary Melanie, Dr. Saytha and his team, and his doctors and nurses at the palliative care unit for their kindness and care. Cremation has taken place. Resting at Caul’s Funeral Home, LeMarchant Road. Visitation on Friday from 11 a.m. – 9 p.m. Funeral service will take place on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 10 a.m. from Caul’s Chapel. Inurnment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. No flowers by request. Donations may be made in his memory to a charity of one's choice.
