It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William ‘Bee’ Stubbert on Thursday April 19, 2018, with his loving family by his side.
Born in North Sydney on October 25, 1972, he was the son of the late William Stubbert and Bernetta Stubbert.
Bee had a great love for the outdoors. He loved going camping in Ingonish, driving around the Cabot Trail and spending time in Cheticamp and Kempt Head. He also enjoyed cars and going to car shows. Bee could also be found putting together model cars as a past time. His personal favorite was an 83 Mustang. Above all, Bee loved to spend quality time with his family, who he cherished more than anything.
Left to mourn him is his fiancée, Roxanne Hefford; his two beautiful girls who meant the world to him, Michelle and Jennifer; his mother, Bernetta; sisters, Deborah (Bernie), Beverly, Nancy, Carolann (Bruce); brothers, Danny, Bruce and Leonard; as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He will also be missed by his beloved dog, Bear.
Besides his father, Bee was predeceased by one brother, Keith and one sister in infancy.
The family would like to send a special thank you to Dr. Wawer for the care he gave to Bee during this difficult time. Also, they wish to thank the staff of the Cape Breton Regional Hospital’s ICU and Palliative Care Unit.
Visitation will be from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Sunday April 22, 2018 at Fillmore & Whitman Funeral Home, 8 Clyde Ave., Sydney Mines.
Funeral Service will be at 2 p.m. on Monday in the Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jason Homan officiating.
If desired, donations in his memory made be made to the SPCA.
