Passed away, Jennifer Lynn Martin (October 23, 1947 - April 21, 2018) at the Palliative Care Inpatient Unit of the Dr. L.A. Miller Centre following a courageous eight-year battle with cancer. Pre-deceased by her parents Wilfred “Fred” Youden and Florence (Bridden). Leaving to mourn her children Robin (Sonia), Heather (Kaushi), granddaughter Keira, her partner John Hickey, her brother Robert Youden (Audrey), special friends Grant, Marion and Glynnie and a legion of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Very special thank you to the talented medical teams in Montreal at the Montreal Neurological Hospital (Dr. Judith Marcoux) and at the MUHC (Dr. Neil Kopek) whose interventions in 2013 gifted us with five more years with our mother. Also, our thanks and deep appreciation to the medical staff at the Palliative Unit at the Miller Centre for their professionalism and care. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Lynn’s name to the Montreal Neurological Institute and Hospital. A private celebration of Lynn’s life to take place at a later date.
